The pictures of Dorian Gray- Book Work
In the book “The Picture of Dorian Gray”, we can observe a commom wish that becomes reality and this wish holds Dorian Gray, a beautiful and rich man, that was 20 years old, in prison of himself. His wish was to be beautiful while his pictures grows old for him. The book begins with a friend of Dorian called Basil, the artist that delighted with the beauty of Mr. Gray .Then, he decides to draw his friend. When Dorian saw the picture he made a wish and with this wish he chose between two ways: to be beautiful and with this, he wouldn´t have a heart or to continue growing old but have a heart, feelings…Dorian Gray chose to be beautiful, i.e, not to have feelings for anyone and he had a tragic ending for being influenced by Henry Wotton, who made him think bad things.
Dorian Gray´s destiny was all consequence of his wish and also his bad attitudes; everybody that he killed just takes him to kill himself with the true. "The picture of  Dorian Gray" is a lesson for life; sometimes we give more attention to our outside appearance then to our attitudes. What we can understand with this book is that normally we do wrong things and there´s no way to  get out of it, but if you try to correct them, ask for help, don´t do it again we can leave the guiet.
Whatever people do, one day they will have a return from the consequences even if they  are good or bad. For example when a person robs a bank; this is a bad thing but if this person asks for help and change  his/her life, he/she automatically changes his fate and future. Unfortunatelly, it is rarely. A proof of that is that more people make changes in their body and lie on the internet. In the book despite of Dorian Gray's Gray dirty past after he moved to  Basil´s city, he had the opportunity to be good and change the terrible things that he did but he refused it. Everyone has an opportunity to change his/her fate  and choose the best way to live. One of the main lessons is that  sometimes we have to be careful with the mirror because it only shows what´s on the outside of us and it doesn´t show what it´s in us.
